PhD Student | Jiangxi Agricultural University, China & University of Alberta, Canada (2014–2017)¶
My PhD research focused on understanding the genetic basis of feed efficiency in beef cattle through whole-genome sequencing and statistical genomics. My work involved genotype imputation, genome-wide association studies, and genomic prediction for economically important production traits.
MSc Student | Jiangxi Agricultural University, China (2011–2014)¶
My MSc research focused on dissecting the genetic architecture of complex traits in pigs using whole-genome sequencing data. I performed GWAS, developed the RegionPlot R package for GWAS visualization, and contributed to studies on pig evolution, genotype imputation, and QTL discovery.
